There it was, the moment in which I made my exit after conversing with a beautiful girl for the past 30 minutes.
The time came and I already had mentioned I needed somewhere to be, so now’s the time to get the number; it’s either now or never. You know you’re never going to see her again. Just ask for the number; she obviously likes you. Then I walk away, with “It was great to meet you.” A quick exchange of smiles occurs.

This is kind of my mantra at the moment. It’s amazing how much time I can waste trying to over-think a situation sometimes. There is a name for that: paralysis by analysis. So lately I deliberately prohibit myself to do excessive over-thinking and analyzing of a situation. Sometimes when you are in a small rut you need some push and inspiration that will force you to get back to real personal growth. If you are lacking motivation or inspiration, don’t fall into the trap of complacency and not doing. This won’t work for long. Nothing worthwhile has ever been achieved by doing nothing or by hovering in this hole of „knowing everything“.
