Finally I’m writing about The Law of Attraction. In fact, I’ve written about it in many posts here, but I’ve never named it as such. But the key understandings that you are responsible for your state of mind and for what you create in your life are also at the core of the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction states: You attract in your life what you think about most of the time. What you focus your attention on grows, and your energy and actions flow towards it. Or in other words: Like attracts Like.
For me the Law of Attraction was intuitively clear pretty early in my life, without labeling it as the Law of Attraction (or even “The Secret”). Some time in my teens I decided to “focus on what I want”. That was essential for me.
Developing the right mindset is really crucial to succeed in anything. When I was switching my career in 2009 from my co-founded company to my new personal business, I knew that there was a way for me. I kept looking, getting educated, testing, optimizing – and I knew it would pay off eventually. I had a gut-feeling of it. And it did. I was on the right path. I had developed the right mindset. Here are the 6 essential keys to change your mindset and by that developing the right mindset.
What makes people change? What makes you change, for the better? This is basically the central question of my work here. Because when you write a personal development blog you finally come to the question of what prevents my readers from having the success they want? What is it that despite very best intentions, ruins all efforts to make and maintain a positive change in life?
Asking the right question could be the critical thing you are missing on your own journey of personal growth. I’m constantly astonished about the kind of breakthrough in thinking that asking the right questions can have. The process of thinking is often the process of asking and answering questions in our head. Especially when you do self-reflection, asking questions is the method to get clarity and to make personal progress.
